Apple reports sales for Q3

Apple has reported their earnings for Q3 and all eyes were on the sales figures for the Apple iPhone 4S. The number of iPhones sold this quarter globally was 26 million units. This was short of market expectations of 28 million units and 26 percent lower than the number of iPhones sold in the first quarter.
